What you think about the film club:
I wish you every success - as I think it is a really good idea to get people
together. Caroline
Marvellous first year - we've really enjoyed it,
and look forward to the next season. Congrats on the awards - has to make your
hard work even more worthwhile!
All best wishes
Janet (& Charles)
I had/have every intention of renewing my membership of
the club, which I think is wonderful - wonderful atmosphere, excellent films and
such an asset to Wimbledon.. Clare
Is it right there are no more films til October ?
how will I survive ???????????????????
enjoy the summer!

I am pleased to see you trying to get grown up films being shown in the area.
There's nothing for me at the Odeon.

I think the club is a very good idea and I am happy
to support it.
Best wishes,
Jenny
I like your website, it's impressive: looks good and easy to use ..... Thank you,
John
Out of interest, the best night for us was the AS Byatt evening. We
enjoyed all the introductions to films, and thought the scene setting was
great. Just like Arnie - we'll be back.
Ian and Karen
Well done - that’s
great. And thank you for setting up in Wimbledon….!

I attended last night...my first time. Really enjoyed the event. Fantastic
film- auditorium a little cold but possibly this added to the ambience.

What you think about the films:
Mulholland Drive
Just thought you'd like feedback on the above film. We both
thought it was Dreadful! What was he getting at!!! Looking forward to the
next one. Eileen G. I did not
enjoy this film (OldBoy). It is the one I have enjoyed least iof all those I
have seen at Wimbledon Film Club, and the only one that I regret coming to see!
I liked The shining more than I expected to, but the film I have enjoyed the
most recently is Cache. My other favourites were Rabbitproof Fence, Colours Blue
and The Weeping Camel. More like these please!
Diana
We have thoroughly enjoyed our Thursdays at the Polka since joining the film
club after Christmas (though Reconstruction and Mulholland Drive left me
baffled!).
Diana
Dear secretary
As I was so negative regarding Mulholland Drive I feel I must say that I
thought "All about my Mother" a really great movie-up there with Casablanca et
al. It was a top class tragic comedy with pace - three deaths yet one went out
smiling!
